Our Instructors
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of
Aikido and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of
expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive training, testing and certification, our staff has
attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and
passing it on to their students.

Dr. Jeff Albright (chief instructor):

JEFF ALBRIGHT SENSEI (instructor) has been practicing martial arts since 1985
and Aikido since 1992. He now holds the rank of SANDAN (third degree black belt),
awarded to him by Masando Sasaki Shihan (Shihan = Master Instructor), after attending
the famous Ichikukai Misogi Shogaku training. He has also attained dan (black belt)
ranks in the arts of Iaido (Samurai sword) and Karate and has teaching certificates in
various other styles. He has over twenty years experience in the martial arts and has
over fifteen years of training in sword arts. Due to being fluent in the language,
living and training in Japan for nearly 5 years, and he provides an authentic style of
Aikido emphasizing both fluidity of movement and practicality. |

Miho Albright (assistant instructor)
MIHO ALBRIGHT SENSEI has been training in, and teaching Aikido for the past 9 years.
She started under Morihei Iio Shihan in Nagasaki. She received her black belt quite
rapidly due to her skill and dedication. Her style is graceful, yet powerful and
effective |
